Is there a word for Biryani in arabic? Im sure there isn't but someone really wants to know, so can you please help!

The Arabs call asian biryani biryani. They have their own types of biryani, like kabsah for example.

Actually Kabsah isnt like biryani, it's like tahari. The one like biryani is madbi I think.

Ok, JazaakAllaah both. One more word inshaa’Allaah, jalebi/sweet halwah? Can you please give me names of some Arabic sweets/desserts? Recipes would be good.

Kunafah, Bakhlawa, Lahooh and Bint al-sahn (which is like a cake with honey, mainly found in the Gulf).
Barazeh it's a syrian sweet, a cookie with loads of sesame seed on it. very yummy :thumbsup: beats those chocolate cookies if you ask me.
