What would you suggest as being the easist way to paste Quranic verses into documents with both the original Arabic and translation?
Would it be from an online source or a file?
Surely a much appreciated add-on for Word would be a Quran inserter?
jazaakumullaah khayran for your anticipated help.

I usually use Quranserver.com and just copy/paste, because I find it easy to use. But you still have to spend some time formatting the font/style, adding the verse brackets etc. Quranserver is offline right now, but most online sources I have found are faster to use than files.

Definitely.

What would you do for hadiths in both Arabic and English? Dorar.net plus English hadith sites? If so which ones are best?
Also do you add them as you go along or leave gaps to add them all in the end?
I suggest the brothers consider developing with open source office products what would suit Islamic writers and translators.

For Arabic hadiths I use Muhaddith, and for the English I just use google. Sometimes the translations are absolutely hotibkle though so watch out.
I actually usually do all the ayahs/hadiths FIRST and then go back for the rest, because it makes me feel like I have done a lot of work already.

What does "hotibkle" mean?

Sorry, I did that only semi-consciously.
Yes, hotibkle is horrible.

This is a Quran add-on for Word. After downloading it, and installing it, you need to go to the directory in which you installed the file, and run another installation again.

Jazaakumullaah khayran I have followed the instructions but I cannot find any sign of it in Word. Please advise.

Have you installed it from the Program Files directory?
If you have, and it still doesn't work, then it doesn't work for your version of Word. What version are you using?

Assalam o alaikum Abu Dujanah, Abu Muqatil and co.
I believe Divine Islam's Quran Viewer is extremely useful in this regard. I have used it for a while and have been fine with it.
I do not recall the name of the website but perhaps it is http://www.divineislam.com or http://www.divineislam.co.uk. Kindly download their software.
It gives you three options when 'extracting' the translations:
Unicode
HTML for the internet and forums
Plain text for Arabic software
The translation they use is Abdullah Yousuf Ali's but I think they offer plug-ins for a variety of other translations too, including Urdu ones.
I am sure it will address all your needs insha Allah.
